Programme overview

Care begins with knowledge, judgement and respect.

The programme is designed for school leavers, working adults, family caregivers, existing caregivers and people seeking professional skills for care-related work. Previous caregiving experience is not presented as a requirement.

Learners build a clear understanding of the caregiver’s role, practise essential support techniques and learn how to protect each person’s dignity, safety, preferences and privacy.
